Disney is looking for its next generation of voices—and they could come from anywhere.
A new global talent search has been announced, aimed at discovering fresh voice actors for upcoming animated projects. Here’s what we know about the initiative and how it works.
According to Deadline, Disney Branded Television has announced a new global voice talent search focused on identifying emerging performers for future animated projects.
The initiative is part of Disney’s ongoing efforts to expand its talent pipeline and discover new voices for its growing slate of animated content across platforms like Disney Channel and Disney+.
The search is open to young performers worldwide, with casting teams specifically looking for individuals who can bring a range of skills to the table—including acting, voice work, and other performance-based talents such as singing or musical ability.
According to casting details, participants do not need formal professional experience to apply, making the opportunity accessible to a wider pool of aspiring talent.
The program builds on Disney’s long history of talent development initiatives, which have helped launch the careers of performers across television, film, and animation.
Submissions are typically conducted through a virtual casting process, allowing applicants from around the world to participate without needing to attend in-person auditions.
Selected participants may be considered for roles in upcoming animated series and projects developed by Disney’s television animation division, which produces content for platforms including Disney Channel, Disney Jr., and Disney+.
While this talent search does not guarantee immediate casting, it serves as a pathway for performers to be discovered and potentially considered for future opportunities within Disney’s animation pipeline.
Disney has not yet announced specific projects tied to the search, but additional updates—including submission timelines and selection details—are expected to be shared through official casting channels.
