Thanksgiving week just got a little more magical.

Tickets are now on sale for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Hexed, which opens exclusively in theaters on November 25, 2026. They’re available on Fandango.
You can pick your format, too. Hexed is playing in Real D 3D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema, and each one has its own new poster. A new trailer also arrived with the ticket sale, featuring Hailee Steinfeld as Billie and Walton Goggins as Beef Roger Crummchuk.
If you haven’t been following this one, here’s the story. Hexed is Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 65th animated feature, and it isn’t based on a previous Disney film. Billie is a teenager who has always felt like she doesn’t belong, until she discovers she’s a witch. After she’s expelled from high school for causing magical mayhem, she’s transported to Hexe, a magical realm, where she and her mother, Alice, have to solve family mysteries that could change the witching world.

The voice cast is stacked. Hailee Steinfeld voices Billie. Rashida Jones voices Billie’s mother, Alice. Jodie Foster voices Queen Celeste, the villainous witch queen. Walton Goggins voices Beef Roger Crummchuk, a three-eyed cat who guides Billie in Hexe. Tracey Ullman voices Ms. Quill, an enchanted feather quill pen. Stephen Fry voices Elias Quire, a magical journal.
Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand direct, with Josie Trinidad as co-director, and Kris Bowers composed the score.
There’s a bonus for your ticket, too. Hexed opens alongside the new animated short Lilo & Scratch, set right after the events of Lilo & Stitch. In it, Lilo adopts Scratch, a new alien cat, who tries to eat Pudge, the fish that controls the weather, and Stitch steps in to protect him. Chris Sanders returns as Stitch and Maia Kealoha returns as Lilo.

A sweepstakes is also offering a chance to attend the Hexed premiere, and Disney+ availability is planned for sometime after the theatrical run, with no date given.
I love when an animated movie is an original story, and a teen witch who feels like an outsider is a great hook for families with kids of all ages. A character like Beef Roger Crummchuk, a three-eyed cat, also sounds like the kind of sidekick kids will quote for weeks. The Lilo & Scratch short is a nice bonus for anyone who wants a little Stitch before the feature, and picking Dolby Cinema or 4DX if you have one nearby could make an opening-week outing feel like a special event.
We’ll keep sharing news about Disney’s upcoming movies and everything else in the Disney world. Keep checking back with us here at Theme Park Scope, and tell us in the comments if Hexed is on your holiday movie list.
