I have officially entered the holiday-season phase where I open the Disney ticket page, stare at it for a long time, then close it as if looking at it might make the sold-out dates reappear.

Disney

It has not worked yet.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party just lost two more nights. According to Disney’s own availability, November 12 and December 20 have now sold out, bringing this season’s total to four of 25 party nights. They join November 24, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving week, and December 22, the final and closest-to-Christmas party, which we covered earlier this week.

That leaves 21 party dates still available, and they are:

November: 8, 9, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 25, 27, and 29.

December: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 18.

The two newest sellouts sit at opposite ends of the calendar and of the price range. That is the interesting part of this story. November 12 is one of the lower-priced nights, listed at $189, with a $179 price for eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members, who save $10 on select nights, while the earlier sellouts were priced higher, at $204 for November 24 and $229 for December 22. In other words, demand is not just chasing the expensive holiday dates. Even a regular, lower-priced night in the first half of November is already gone.

So how does this compare to last year? This is where it gets a little reassuring and a little stressful. So far this season, 2026 was pacing behind 2025 for a while, since by late September of last year three dates had already sold out, including opening night, the second party, and the one closest to Christmas. But as of October 4, both years had three sold-out dates, so this season has caught up. Further, last year all 25 dates were sold out by November 19, at the same $229 top price. If this year follows a similar curve, the remaining nights could fill up quickly once we get closer to the holidays.

It is also a reminder that this is not a new pattern. This event has now had several years in a row of sold-out dates, and it is highly likely that every date will sell out again this year. I would not treat that as a promise, since nobody outside Disney can see the numbers, but it is a fair read of the trend.

If you have been waiting for the perfect moment to book, that moment was probably last week. But here is the practical advice, and I say this as someone who has absolutely waited too long before: if you already know which night works for your trip, buy it. Once a party date sells out, it rarely comes back, and shifting your whole vacation around a different night is a lot harder than clicking a button now.

Whichever night you pick, the party brings back the same entertainment lineup. That includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration, plus ticketed guests can enter Magic Kingdom starting at 4 PM, hours before the party officially begins.
