A quick-service spot just steps from Magic Kingdom has quietly added some new options.

Guests visiting Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will now find several new lunch and dinner items on the menu, giving diners a few more choices at one of Walt Disney World’s most convenient resort restaurants.

Located on the Grand Canyon Concourse, Contempo Café is known for its quick-service meals, mobile ordering, cupcakes, and views of the monorail gliding directly through the resort. Now, the menu has expanded with new entrées that may be especially helpful for guests looking for something beyond the usual burgers and sandwiches.

One of the biggest additions is the Fried Fish and Shrimp Basket, priced at $13.29. The basket is served with French fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce and is available for both lunch and dinner.

Two new rice bowls have also joined the dinner menu.

The Signature Rice Bowl with Barbacoa Beef, priced at $14.99, includes cilantro-lime rice, black beans, grilled peppers, and onions. The bowl is topped with barbacoa beef and queso fresco.

There is also a plant-based option: the Signature Rice Bowl with “Chicken,” priced at $13.49. This bowl includes cilantro-lime rice, black beans, grilled peppers, and onions, along with plant-based “cheese,” Gardein chicken, pico de gallo, and guacamole.

These new items give Contempo Café a little more variety for guests staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, stopping by after a Magic Kingdom day, or resort hopping along the monorail loop.
