This is flying with style — literally.

Disney and Pixar fans may want to start watching the skies, because Alaska Airlines just revealed a brand-new Toy Story 5 aircraft that brings Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and a few new tech-inspired friends along for the ride. The colorful new Horizon Air livery celebrates both the upcoming Pixar sequel and a major airline milestone, making this one seriously fun plane for Disney fans and aviation fans alike.
Alaska Airlines has officially unveiled a new Toy Story 5 livery on a Horizon Air aircraft, adding another Disney and Pixar-themed plane to its growing fleet of character-inspired aircraft.
The new plane is an Embraer 175 operated by Horizon Air, Alaska Airlines’ regional carrier. The aircraft’s tail number is N659QX, and it has been given the very fitting name “To 45 and Beyond.”
Yes, that is absolutely a play on Buzz Lightyear’s famous catchphrase, and it also honors Horizon Air’s upcoming 45th anniversary of service.

The new Toy Story 5 aircraft features longtime Pixar favorites including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, along with several new characters from the upcoming film.
Those new “Toy meets Tech” characters include Lilypad, Snappy, Atlas, and Smarty Pants, tying the aircraft directly into the next chapter of the Toy Story franchise.

The design also includes floating cloud graphics across the fuselage, giving the aircraft that classic Toy Story sky-inspired look.

Disney fans will also want to look closely for the themed phrases included in the livery, including: “Saddle Up, It’s Takeoff Time!” and “Ready for Takeoff, Partner.” And because the details matter, Forky and Karen Beverly also appear on the winglets, making this aircraft packed with Pixar character surprises from nose to tail.
Where Was the Toy Story 5 Plane Revealed?
Alaska Airlines unveiled the new Horizon Air Toy Story 5 aircraft at Portland International Airport for guests and employees.

Horizon Air President and CEO Andy Schneider said the aircraft was a fitting way to celebrate Horizon’s history, noting that the 45-year milestone is meaningful and that the new livery was designed to bring out the kid in everyone.
Alaska Airlines’ Disney-Themed Aircraft Fleet Keeps Growing
This new Toy Story 5 plane joins several other Disney-themed aircraft already operated by Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.

That lineup includes: “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer”, “Mickey’s Toontown Express”, “Friendship and Beyond at the Disneyland Resort”, and the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge-themed Boeing 737-800, which was originally unveiled in 2022 as “Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort.”

That Star Wars aircraft was recently updated with branding for The Mandalorian and Grogu, including promotional artwork near the boarding door featuring the Mandalorian holding Grogu. The plane’s black paint job also includes the Millennium Falcon, TIE fighters, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Disneyland Resort logos, and porgs on the winglets.

The update ties into both the upcoming The Mandalorian and Grogu film and the new mission now available on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Toy Story 5 Heads to Theaters in June
The new Alaska Airlines livery arrives as excitement continues to build for Toy Story 5.
The upcoming Disney and Pixar film will bring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and the rest of Bonnie’s toys back for a new story centered on a clash between toys and technology.

In the film, Bonnie’s toys encounter Lilypad, a new tablet device whose arrival threatens to change the way playtime works.
The movie features returning voice cast members including Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, and Joan Cusack as Jessie. Toy Story 5 is currently scheduled to open exclusively in theaters on June 19, 2026.
Between the bright Toy Story design, the nod to Horizon Air’s 45th anniversary, and the early look at new Toy Story 5 characters, this aircraft is definitely one Disney fans will want to spot in the wild.
