If your kids are obsessed with LEGO, you may want to start planning your summer vacation NOW.

LEGOLAND

LEGOLAND Florida Resort just announced the return of the massive LEGO Festival event for Summer 2026, and this year’s celebration sounds even BIGGER, more interactive, and more immersive than before.

From all-new themed zones and live entertainment to exclusive building challenges and free LEGO rewards, this family-friendly festival is shaping up to be one of the most exciting summer events at a Florida theme park this year.

LEGO Festival Returns to LEGOLAND Florida for Summer 2026

LEGOLAND Florida Resort officially confirmed that LEGO Festival will return for its second year from July 20 through August 16, 2026. The limited-time event will once again transform the park into a massive interactive celebration of creativity, imagination, music, building, and family play.

The festival is designed specifically with kids at the center of the experience, encouraging families to build, explore, and play together throughout the entire park.

And honestly? This sounds like one of the most interactive events LEGOLAND has offered in years.

LEGO Festival Will Feature FIVE Interactive Zones

This year’s LEGO Festival will include five themed interactive zones spread throughout LEGOLAND Florida Resort, with returning favorites and brand-new experiences making their debut in 2026.

Guests will receive a LEGO Festival wristband and festival map upon arrival, turning them into official festival-goers ready to complete activities, discover themed entertainment, and explore the event all day long.

Here’s a closer look at what families can expect this summer.

Music Zone Brings Live Shows and LEGO Rockstars

The Music Zone is returning with the fan-favorite “Battle of the Bands” live show, where LEGO Rockstars and Popstars compete in an energetic performance packed with music and audience participation.

Kids will have the chance to sing along, dance, and help contribute to a giant festival mosaic build while spotting larger-than-life LEGO models throughout the area.

Guests will also be able to meet characters like Melody Raye and Lyric Santos after performances.

For families visiting LEGOLAND Florida with younger kids, this sounds like one of the most interactive entertainment offerings of the entire festival.

The Creative Zone Includes NEW Creatureverse Experiences

The Creative Zone is getting major upgrades for 2026 with new hands-on building activities focused entirely on imagination and creativity.

One of the biggest additions is the new Creatureverse building experience, where kids can create unique creatures using LEGO bricks at interactive build tables.

LEGOLAND will also offer Master Model Builder sessions including:

  • “The Anything Animal”
  • “Let’s Create a Creature”

The photo ops here may end up being some of the BEST in the park. Guests can meet a LEGO Panda and LEGO Peacock while adding colorful brick-built feathers to the interactive displays throughout the zone.

A NEW Chill Out Zone Is Coming to LEGOLAND Florida

Families looking for a quieter break during the day will be able to head to the Chill Out Zone, which is themed as a peaceful secret garden experience.

This area will feature the LEGO Botanicals “Build & Bloom” activity, where guests can create LEGO flowers to add to a growing botanical display filled with butterflies, plants, and bug-inspired LEGO creations.

New additions for 2026 include:

  • LEGO brick butterfly builds
  • Bug-themed LEGO creations
  • A Gardener LEGO character meet-and-greet
  • “Playtime with Hopsy” live stage show

This zone honestly sounds like the perfect reset area between rides and festival activities.

LEGOLAND Is Still Hiding TWO Major Festival Surprises

LEGOLAND Florida also teased two all-new experiences that have not been fully revealed yet.

The upcoming Thrill Zone is expected to feature a sports-themed, high-energy experience designed for active kids and families.

Meanwhile, the mysterious Play Zone is being described as the “ultimate gaming fan zone.”

No additional details have been announced yet, which means we’ll definitely be watching for more reveals in the coming weeks.

Guests Can Earn a FREE LEGO Gift During the Festival

One of the coolest additions to the LEGO Festival this year may be the interactive Build Challenge.

Guests who complete at least three exclusive LEGO building activities throughout the festival can collect stamps on their festival maps and redeem a special 3-in-1 LEGO Creator gift before leaving the park.

There will also be a LEGO Insiders points giveaway available for adult LEGO fans.

And yes — this is INCLUDED with regular admission! One of the best parts about the event is that the LEGO Festival is included with standard admission to LEGOLAND Florida Resort.

That means guests can experience the festival while also enjoying more than 50 rides and attractions, family-friendly shows, water attractions, LEGO-themed lands, and fun character meet-and-greets.

Families wanting to turn the event into a full vacation can also stay at the on-site LEGOLAND Hotel or Pirate Island Hotel, both located just steps from the theme park entrance.

The resorts include complimentary hot breakfast, nightly kids’ entertainment, and fully themed LEGO rooms—including the newer LEGO DUPLO-themed rooms!

And with two mystery experiences still waiting to be announced, there’s a good chance even more surprises are on the way before the festival officially begins this summer.

We’ll continue keeping an eye on additional LEGO Festival announcements, so be sure to check back soon for more LEGOLAND Florida news, theme park updates, entertainment announcements, vacation planning tips, and summer travel coverage.
