While the exact circumstances remain unclear, the incident quickly spread across social media due to both the unusual nature of the incident and the obvious safety concerns of leaving a ride vehicle during a live-animal safari.

Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of Disney’s most immersive attractions, featuring open-air safari trucks traveling through habitats containing animals like giraffes, rhinos, lions, hippos, and crocodiles.

Disney

Disney has strict safety rules requiring guests to remain seated inside ride vehicles at all times, especially on attractions involving live animals.

As of now, Disney has not publicly commented on the incident.
