For the first time ever, original Disney Parks characters are stepping out of the parks — and into Fortnite!

The adorable BDX droids have already won over guests at Disney Parks around the world, made their way to the big screen, and now they’re heading into one of the biggest games on the planet. This is a major first for Disney Parks storytelling.
In a huge crossover moment, the BDX droids are officially coming to Fortnite, marking the first time Disney Parks’ original characters have been added to the game.

Created by Walt Disney Imagineering, the BDX droids first appeared in Disney Parks as part of the evolving Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge experience. Their lifelike movements, playful personalities, and interactive presence quickly made them fan favorites among guests.
Since then, these tiny droids have expanded far beyond the parks. They’ve appeared at Disney destinations around the world, made the leap to the big screen, and now they’re entering the digital world of Fortnite.

This isn’t just another Fortnite crossover. It’s a major milestone for Disney Parks characters.
The BDX droids represent original storytelling born inside the parks—not from a movie first, not from a TV series, but from Walt Disney Imagineering. Seeing them move into Fortnite shows how Disney Parks’ creations can now grow into larger entertainment franchises across gaming, film, and beyond.
If you’ve loved spotting the BDX droids in Galaxy’s Edge, this is a crossover worth watching. Follow along for more Disney Parks and Fortnite updates.
