A brand-new aerial image shared by Bioreconstruct is giving us one of the clearest looks yet at construction on Disney Lakeshore Lodge, and things are moving fast.

The latest view highlights the main lobby structure overlooking the resort’s upcoming lazy river, with construction progress now reaching a noticeable milestone.

One of the biggest takeaways from this new aerial perspective is the progress on the lazy river itself.

Recent updates show that concrete has now been poured for the full loop of the lazy river, completing a major phase of construction that had previously only been partially finished.

This feature is expected to be one of the standout amenities of the resort, positioned right alongside the main building for scenic views and easy guest access.

The aerial photo also gives a better sense of the overall layout, with the lobby designed to overlook the water feature — hinting at the immersive, nature-inspired atmosphere Disney is aiming for.

Disney Lakeshore Lodge is being built along Bay Lake, on the former site of River Country, and is expected to open in summer 2027 as a new Disney Vacation Club resort.

When complete, the resort will feature hundreds of rooms, waterfront views, and new “Lake House” accommodations, continuing Disney’s push toward more immersive resort storytelling.
