Disney just revealed a private club that feels like a theme park?!

Living inside a Disney-designed community already sounds like a dream, but what if your neighborhood clubhouse felt like an attraction all on its own? Because that’s exactly what Disney is building next.

New details have just been released for a major addition coming to Asteria, part of Storyliving by Disney, and it might completely change how we think about “living the Disney lifestyle.”

Let’s just say…this is not your average HOA clubhouse!

At the center of the upcoming Asteria community in North Carolina will be the Second Star Club, a massive, Imagineer-designed hub meant to serve as the social and emotional “heartbeat” of the neighborhood.

Inspired by the iconic “second star to the right” from Peter Pan, this club isn’t just about amenities — it’s about storytelling woven into everyday life.

Here’s what we know so far.

The Second Star Club will feature a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces designed for everything from casual hangouts to full-on Disney-style programming. Think craft classes, wellness activities, live entertainment, and even curated excursions — all included as part of community life.

There will also be dining locations like Marquet Hall, gathering spaces, pools, and sports courts — all designed to bring neighbors together in a way that feels intentional, not just convenient.

Disney also revealed a whimsical, storybook-inspired space called the Lost Key Cottage, a five-bedroom experience that residents can reserve for special occasions, overnight stays, or celebrations.

Yes — you can basically book your own mini Disney fairytale stay without ever leaving your neighborhood.

Asteria itself is shaping up to be a massive project, spanning roughly 1,500 acres with plans for more than 4,000 homes near Raleigh.

The community is designed as a “campus of discovery,” blending Disney storytelling with local North Carolina culture, nature, and architecture.

And if this all sounds familiar, that’s because Disney is expanding beyond theme parks in a BIG way — turning everyday living into something immersive, curated, and, well…a little magical!

But make no mistake: this isn’t just about nostalgia; it’s about building a lifestyle.
