Universal Orlando’s hotel bars just got a major upgrade, and it’s not just about what’s in the glass!

A new cocktail program called Alchemy by Loews has officially launched across select Universal Orlando resorts, bringing a more elevated, experience-driven approach to drinks. Here’s what’s new and where to find it.

Loews Hotels & Co. has introduced a new beverage program, Alchemy by Loews, now available at select hotels across Universal Orlando Resort.

The program has launched at four on-site properties, including:

• Universal Helios Grand Hotel
• Loews Royal Pacific Resort
• Loews Portofino Bay Hotel
• Loews Sapphire Falls Resort

Alchemy by Loews focuses on a more elevated, multi-sensory approach to cocktails, drawing inspiration from botanical apothecaries and modern mixology techniques. Drinks are designed with attention to elements such as aroma, texture, temperature, and presentation—aiming to create a more immersive beverage experience.

Each participating resort features its own location-specific menu, with cocktails tailored to the theme and atmosphere of the hotel.

Some of the featured drinks include:

• Clash of the Titans – A savory-meets-citrus cocktail served at Bar Helios, blending gin with feta honey, lemon, and St-Germain
• Golden Dawn – A tropical mix of pineapple rum, mango, and almond orgeat with a spicy-sweet garnish
• The Italian 75 – A sparkling gin-based cocktail with crème de violette and prosecco
• The Dino – A barrel-aged cocktail featuring rye whiskey, espresso, and cinnamon
• Key Lime Crush – A dessert-inspired drink with key lime and vanilla flavors
• Sazerac – A reimagined take on the classic with rum, bitters, and absinthe

In addition to traditional cocktails, the program also includes “Free Spirited” non-alcoholic options, reflecting growing demand for alcohol-free beverages crafted with the same level of detail.

According to Loews, the goal of the program is to transform a standard drink into a more intentional experience, using house-made ingredients, seasonal botanicals, and small-batch mixers to enhance flavor and presentation.

The rollout reflects a broader trend across theme park resorts toward more experience-driven dining and beverage offerings, where storytelling and sensory elements extend beyond rides and attractions into food and drink.

At this time, Alchemy by Loews is available at select locations within the participating Universal Orlando hotels, with additional updates or expansions possible in the future.
