Disney has announced a temporary pause for the character dining experience at Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park.
A new notice posted at the restaurant states:
“The Character Dining experience at Plaza Inn will be temporarily unavailable starting August 10, 2026, and is expected to return in late September.”
This means guests visiting Disneyland between August 10 and late September will not be able to enjoy the popular Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park character dining experience.
At this time, Disney has not announced a reason for the temporary suspension. The restaurant itself is expected to remain open, with only the character dining experience being unavailable.
Guests planning a Disneyland vacation during this period should consider making reservations at other character dining locations if meeting Disney characters during breakfast is part of their plans.
Disney expects the Plaza Inn character dining experience to return in late September 2026.
