If you have been planning a shopping trip to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World, there is something you need to know before you go. Shore, the resort lifestyle clothing and accessories store that has been a fixture in the Town Center district since the day it opened, is permanently closing its Disney Springs location. There is a clearance sale happening right now, and what is unfolding around this closure tells a bigger story about Disney Springs in 2026 that every Disney fan should be paying attention to.
What Is Shore at Disney Springs, and Why is It Closing?
Shore is a resort lifestyle brand that sells clothing and accessories, and it has been one of the longest-running tenants in Disney Springs Town Center since the district opened roughly a decade ago. The Disney Springs location is now permanently closing. Employees confirmed the store will shut down either when merchandise runs out or by the end of April 2026, whichever comes first.
This is not a company-wide shutdown. Shore’s location in Longboat Key, Florida, will remain open, and the brand’s online store will continue operating. This is a single-location decision, which raises its own questions about why this particular address is closing while other Shore locations carry on.
Is There a Clearance Sale at Shore Disney Springs Right Now?
Yes. A clearance sale is currently underway at the Disney Springs location with discounts starting at 40% off storewide. As inventory continues to clear over the coming weeks, discounts are expected to reach up to 80% off. Damaged warehouse items will also be made available for purchase. These sale prices are only available in store at Disney Springs and are not reflected on the Shore website, so you will need to visit in person to take advantage of the savings.
Is Disney Springs losing a lot of stores in 2026?
Shore is actually the third Disney Springs store to close in the first three months of 2026. Sprinkles Cupcakes closed on January 1, quietly and without any farewell, leaving a darkened storefront where a cupcake ATM once operated around the clock. Francesca’s closed on March 29 as part of a nationwide liquidation that shut down all 466 of the brand’s physical United States locations simultaneously.
- Sprinkles Cupcakes Closed January 1, 2026
- Francesca’s Closed March 29, 2026
- Shore Closing by April 30, 2026
Disney has not announced a replacement tenant for any of the three vacated spaces. Three closures in roughly three months, with no announced successors, is a pace that is difficult to ignore when you are paying close attention to the health of Disney Springs as a shopping destination.
Whether these closures reflect a broader problem with the economics of operating retail inside Disney Springs, a deliberate strategy to clear space for incoming tenants, or simply an unlucky string of departures is not publicly clear. What is clear is that Disney Springs is heading into spring 2026 with more unanswered questions about its retail future than it has had in years.
What is replacing Shore at Disney Springs?
Disney has not announced a new tenant for the Town Center storefront that Shore is vacating. The space joins two other unannounced vacancies left by Sprinkles and Francesca’s. What is coming to Disney Springs in 2026 includes Level99, the entertainment venue that has been in the works for some time, as well as a Vans location with a timeline still to be confirmed. Whether new retail announcements are waiting in the wings or the district is genuinely navigating a harder retail environment than it has faced before remains to be seen.
Should you visit Shore before it closes?
If Shore merchandise has ever been on your radar, now is the time to go. The 40% off sale is running right now on everything in the store, and discounts will only get deeper as the closing date approaches. If you are visiting Disney Springs in April 2026, it is worth stopping in. Once the merchandise is gone, so is the store, and there is no indication that these sale prices will ever be available again at this location.
Disney Springs is changing faster than most guests realize, and staying ahead of what is opening, what is closing, and what deals are worth knowing about can make a real difference in how you plan your trip. Shore is closing at the end of April, the clearance sale is happening now, and there is a lot more happening across Walt Disney World that could affect your next visit.
