Universal Orlando has officially confirmed that Volcano Bay Nights, the after-hours party at the resort’s tropical water theme park, will return for summer 2026.

The limited-capacity event gives guests the chance to experience the water park after dark with shorter wait times, exclusive entertainment, specialty food, and even complimentary treats — all set against the glowing backdrop of Krakatau volcano.

Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed that Universal Volcano Bay will once again host its popular after-hours event, Volcano Bay Nights, during select evenings throughout summer 2026.

The limited-capacity event invites guests to experience the tropical water park after dark with special entertainment, shorter attraction waits, and exclusive food offerings.

Event Dates for Volcano Bay Nights 2026

According to Universal Orlando, Volcano Bay Nights will take place on select nights between May 3 and August 21, 2026.

Confirmed event dates include:

  • May 3, 10, 17, 22, and 31
  • June 5, 12, 18, and 25
  • July 10 and 17
  • August 7, 14, and 21

The event officially runs from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., but guests with tickets can enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m. to enjoy Volcano Bay before the nighttime festivities begin.

Tickets are currently listed at $99 per person, and the price includes standard self-parking for the evening. Passholders can also receive a 10% discount on tickets.

What You Can Expect at Volcano Bay Nights

Volcano Bay Nights offers a more relaxed way to experience the park, thanks to its limited capacity and special event offerings.

During the event, guests can enjoy many of Volcano Bay’s most popular attractions — including rides like the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and the TeAwa The Fearless River — often with reduced wait times.

Entertainment also plays a major role in the party atmosphere. A DJ-led Beach Bash at Waturi Beach brings music and dancing to the shoreline, while guests can also meet characters from DreamWorks Animation films like Shrek and Madagascar.

Admission includes a few complimentary treats as well, such as Blue Raspberry Churro Bites and Garlic Parmesan Popcorn, plus a Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup for drink refills during the event.

Originally introduced in 2025, Volcano Bay Nights quickly became one of Universal Orlando’s most unique seasonal offerings — allowing guests to experience the water park under glowing lights and tropical nighttime ambiance.
