Guests visiting Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe can now meet Yoshi during a limited-time character meet and greet celebrating the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy movie.

And I, for one, couldn’t be more thrilled to see a new character make their debut at Universal!
Yoshi is officially coming to Universal Epic Universe for a limited-time meet and greet as part of a celebration for the upcoming The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

The special offering is taking place inside Super Nintendo World and includes exclusive themed treats, photo opportunities, and more to celebrate the film’s theatrical debut this spring.
The limited-time celebration kicked off on March 10 (MAR10 Day) and is expected to run through April 13, leading up to and following the film’s April 1 premiere.
Yoshi Meet and Greet Debuts at Epic Universe
For the first time, guests visiting Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe will be able to meet Yoshi in person during a special character meet-and-greet experience.

The beloved green dinosaur has appeared at Universal’s parks before in select events, but this marks his first appearance at Epic Universe since the park opened.
Fans visiting the land will have the chance to stop by the designated character location to grab photos with Yoshi as Universal celebrates the new cosmic adventure inspired by the Mushroom Kingdom.
Limited-Time Treats and Movie-Themed Offerings
Along with the Yoshi meet-and-greet, Universal is also introducing limited-time food, merchandise, and photo opportunities tied to the upcoming film.

The celebration is designed to bring a cosmic twist to Super Nintendo World, allowing guests to experience the world of Mario and friends in new ways ahead of the movie’s release.
Guests visiting the resort can also catch the new film when it premieres in theaters beginning April 1, 2026, with screenings available at Universal’s CityWalk theaters.
A Limited-Time Celebration in Super Nintendo World
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie celebration is currently running at both Universal parks in the United States, including Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, offering fans multiple ways to experience the excitement surrounding the film.

At Epic Universe, the festivities give guests visiting Super Nintendo World a new reason to explore the colorful land, which already features attractions like Mario Kart adventures, interactive Power-Up Band challenges, and Yoshi-themed experiences.
With the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie just around the corner, this limited-time celebration gives Nintendo fans a chance to step into the Mushroom Kingdom before the adventure hits the big screen.
