It’s already happening — one of Disney World’s most popular days is SOLD OUT!!

If you were hoping to celebrate Star Wars Day inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios as an Annual Passholder…you may already be out of luck, and it’s only going to get more intense from here.

May 4th is shaping up to be one of the busiest days at Walt Disney World once again, and now, Annual Passholder reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios are officially completely gone.

Star Wars Day (aka May the 4th) has become a full-blown fan holiday inside the parks, especially at Hollywood Studios—home to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Between exclusive merchandise drops, themed food, and massive crowds of fans ready to celebrate, demand for this date has skyrocketed year after year. In fact, the park has a history of hitting capacity on May 4th due to the sheer popularity of the event.

For Annual Passholders, that popularity comes with a catch: reservations are still required for entry before 2 PM (unless it’s a designated “Good-to-Go” day), and those reservation slots are limited. And just like in previous years, those limited spots for May 4th have now been completely booked.

But don’t lose hope just yet — there are still a few ways you might be able to experience the day:

  • Arrive after 2 PM: Passholders can typically enter without a reservation later in the day (pending capacity).
  • Park hop strategy: Grab a reservation at another park, scan in, then hop to Hollywood Studios (if capacity allows).
  • Keep checking: Disney occasionally releases additional reservation availability closer to high-demand dates.

It’s also worth noting that this sellout mainly impacts Annual Passholders—guests with standard date-based tickets may still be able to visit, since those tickets no longer require park reservations in most cases.

Still, if this trend tells us anything, it’s this: May the 4th at Disney World is no longer a “last-minute” kind of day. It’s a plan-weeks (or months) ahead event, and one that continues to grow every single year.
