Disney is going country, and it’s bringing some major names along for the ride!

A brand-new music project has just been announced, reimagining some of Disney’s most iconic songs through a country lens. Here’s what we know about the upcoming release and who’s involved!

The Walt Disney Company has announced a new country-inspired music project titled Main Street Country, set to release on April 3, 2026, via Walt Disney Records.

The EP brings together a lineup of well-known country artists to deliver reimagined versions of classic Disney songs, blending familiar melodies with a country music style rooted in storytelling and emotional connection.

The project is part of Disney’s ongoing “Mickey & Friends” music series, following the success of previous genre-based releases like the pop-punk album A Whole New Sound.

  • Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown
  • Restless Road
  • Dasha
  • Maddie & Tae
  • BRELAND

Each artist contributes a country-style interpretation of a well-known Disney track.

The confirmed tracklist includes:

  • “Beauty and the Beast” (Beauty and the Beast) – Kane & Katelyn Brown
  • “The Climb” (Hannah Montana: The Movie) – Restless Road
  • “She’s So Gone” (Lemonade Mouth) – Dasha
  • “You’ll Be in My Heart” (Tarzan) – Maddie & Tae
  • “Go the Distance” (Hercules) – BRELAND

Disney also revealed new cover art for the project, featuring Mickey and Friends in a country-inspired setting, further tying the release into the broader theme of the album.

According to Disney, the goal of Main Street Country is to reinterpret these songs through a genre that emphasizes heart, storytelling, and emotional connection, aligning closely with the themes found in many Disney films.

Restless Road

The release continues Disney’s recent strategy of reintroducing its music catalog through modern genres and artists, creating new entry points for both longtime fans and new audiences.

Main Street Country will be available on streaming platforms beginning April 3.
